A Spontaneous Day Out…

I think that I’d do something interesting today.

It’s been a while since I travel using the public transport. I have been driving myself to all the places that I needed to go. And I think I need the exercise too. So I will taking the light railway train (LRT, or some of you guys call subway) today.

I need to go to the bank and pay my credit card bill. And then I need to go another bank to make the settlement for my first car. The car is a 1992 Proton Iswara with automatic transmission. I don’t drive it anymore but it’s still with me. It’s at my mothers house right now. Maybe need a few works tought… Hmmm… it’s been six years already… how time flies. And I have a lot of memories with that car.

OK, back to the day out planning… Maybe after that I can just hang and see what happens. And have lunch by myself, watching people rushing the food into their stomach to hustle their way back to the cubicle. That’ll be something fun to watch.

We’ll see, maybe I’ll take this laptop with me (I am still at home now) and write from there.

Oh, by the way, a few of my websites are down. The web hosting is having problems with it and I believe is working hard to get back online.

Well, everytime there’s a downtime, you see people screeching, shouting, and threatening to move their websites else where.

But I don’t think it makes sense to move your website everytime there’s a downtime. Even a 99.9% uptime has a 0.1% downtime. And 0.1% downtime is still about 8 hours and 45 minutes downtime a year.

And believe me, no web hosting can guarantee a 100% uptime…

So for me, I’ll just keep the websites there. But just to note, if you are having a big launch, you may want to inform your web hosting company. And also check the server status blog for scheduled maintenance. ;)

Alright… will be reporting again later…
