Now, here’s what I found that works. I can create a category specifically for the blog. And with the Level2Categories plugin, I hide that category from other authors.

And then with Ultimate Category Excluder, I can exclude that category from the frontpage.

As for CSS, I just highlight the category CSS as for the main RSS.

Of course more needs to be done with AttractorStories.com. It’ll be an ongoing process.

Anyway multiple wordpress could could the way, I have not used it so I cant really say for certain.

Here are a few suggestion based on the many hours I spent trying various plugins, I think there are pluging to accomplish all your ideas you may just need to uses them in dirrefent ways, for example the Hello Dolly plugin could be use for your random articles
