Four Days at the World Internet Summit Malaysia
I had a great time at World Internet Summit Malaysia
I was at the World Internet Summit Malaysia for the last four days. Whoah … what a stretch. If I am not mistaken, this is the second time they did World Internet Summit. And they had quite a line up of speakers. Patrick Chan, Jo Han Mok, Ewen Chia, David Cavanagh, Rick Raddatz, Willie Crawford, John Childers, Jay Abraham (via video), Stephen Pierce, Fabian Lim, Andrew & Daryl Grant … and of course, Tom Hua and Brett McFall.
I had a great time being there. The speakers shared interesting things during the seminar. Though, the seminar is designed more to help the newbies, I learn a few new things myself. And some of the things, are reminders that I really needed.
By the, I would like to announce I finally get to meet up with Willie Crawford. I wanted to bring Willie to the KL Tower for dinner. But it was a full house. I could’ve been a nice view … Our second choice Seri Melayu, was also a full house. The three of us, Gobala, Willie and I, finally had dinner at Shrooms, Suria KLCC.
We talked and chat about internet marketing, karate, the whole seminar … and had a few laughs discussing funny things people do online (like an ebook title Willie thought of … can’t reveal that here).
And today, together with a few friends, we managed to kidnap Rick Raddatz and David Cavanagh and force them to have lunch with us. And we had a great talk. Rick was very nice and he shared how we can further use his Marketing Makeover Generator. Marketing Makeover Generator is an awesome tool by the way. And David must be one of the most talkative person I have met. But he is just warm and friendly … and hey, he has a videos of World Internet Summit on his site too.
And I also made new friends, and met up with some my own readers (blog and ezine). I am flattered everytime somebody comes up to me and says, “Kidino … ?”, because I had another name printed on my nametag. The organizer printed it according to my full name.
Alright … what to do now? Well, I have to catch-up on the works I’ve left piling for the past four days (not that the pile is any big though). And also, I have a new project that I will be launching. And the event just gave me so much idea. I need to think and plan on how to implement those ideas.
By the way, checkout some of these pages below. David has video on his site. And I believe more will be blogging about their experience in WIS pretty soon.
