Funny PageRank – Is This An Update?

I have been seeing funny PageRank for MoneyClicking.net. Sometimes I see that it’s 3, sometimes 4, and other times 5. PR5 is the highest that MoneyClicking.net has ever get. And things are going up and down in a matter of hours. Now it’s 5, a few hours later it’s 3, etc …

Infact, I use Google Toolbar and SearchStatus on my Firefox. Sometimes both of these are reporting different PRs for MoneyClicking.net. And I even tried web-based tool and PR calculator available on the web to check for my PR. And the result has not been consistent.

I read at EXSEO.com by Paul Short that it’s one of those times when Google is doing an update. Is it? I don’t know … I haven’t been paying much attention when it comes to SEO lately.

    Well, it happen to me too, I think this is because the data centers are synchrunizing the result among them. Nevertheless, I thought google has been updating the PR constantly instead of doing it once every few months??

    By the way, I didn’t managed to get any site with PR5+ . No luck so far…:(
