Iman at the Zoo
I took Iman to the zoo last weekend. And Iman was very excited. Iman shouted and pointed her finger out, “Bird! Bird! …” And it wasn’t only birds. Oh yeah, I taught her about animals and the sound they make. Like Lion goes “Aum.” And it’s just so quite when she does it. She knows lion, cat, dog, bee, frog, chicken … oh yeah, even drum and violin. OK, that’s no animal.
Too bad all the carnivor animals were sleeping when we were at the zoo. And went back into the shadows and just lie there. So Iman didn’t really see much of lions and tigers. By the way, do you know that tigers and lions sleeps 90% of the day.

Today’s post inspired me to drop you this note because, for many years in Hawaii, when traffic or office got too much for me, my best friend and I would go to the zoo to see the giraffes! Today was that kind of day and you and Iman took me to the zoo when I most needed it.
