Zam’s Birthday Gift
Last week I wrote to my readers about my wife’s birthday. And I wrote about my plans for her. Since I told my readers about the plan, I feel like obligated to show that I followed through. So here it is.
Her birthday was on Saturday. But since Saturday is not a working day, I did something on Friday. Normally she takes the LRT (something like the subway) from work, and I wait for her at the nearby station. But last Friday, I waited for her at her office with a bouquet of roses.
And on Saturday, we went shopping for her new watch. The old one is broken. I have to say that I suck at choosing gifts. It’s best that she chooses that herself and I pay for it. I am happy because I get to buy her a gift, and she’s happy because she gets something she likes. It’s a Casio.
Oh yeah … I haven’t worn a watch for a long time. But I just couldn’t leave the NikeTiming in the store. I grabbed myself a set.
And thank you for helping me make this birthday a little more special from usual. She was glowing when she read the messages from people she doesn’t even know before.
Well, I guess that’s just the power of the Internet …
