Thank for all the positive feedback:-) I just wanted to add that currently Post Affiliate Pro has feature to create “virtual affiliates” which are affiliate accounts suitable for tracking of your own advertising. These accounts can be easily filtered out in reports, so they don’t skew affiliate statistics.

If you are serious about dong business online you have to track everything, traffic, sales, everything. If not you have a very slim chance of success. I spent a lot of money and time trying to sell art on the website http://www.southwixart.com I only had one sale! Because I do not know which advertisement method worked I could not repeat or duplicate the advertisement. The result, Huge amounts of money being spent blindly with no results. Affiliate Script or some other type of tracking software is a must.

That’s a real clever idea.

Your method saves time and the concept is just the same as ad tracking using ad tracking script.

Here’s another vote for Post Affiliate Pro. I think the main advantage over Idev is that it’s being actively developed and supported. The support both before and after the sale was truly excellent. I had some teething problems with the script at first – I think the new version will be easier to use – but they sorted it all out for me in record time.

Once I needed help implementing another PHP script into the affiliate system, and they kindly used a lot of time helping me.
