What are your thoughts on Kidino?

I am reading my copy of UP Your Service by Ron Kaufman. And right now I am thinking of the ways of how I can apply this to my email marketing.

I run multiple list … but I have to admit that I normally just send the same things to all of them. And do I track results … well no. But do you think that I can do a lot better if I do?

Hmmm … something to think about.

At times like this, I really would like to hear from you, my readers, my subscribers, my website visitors.

I want to hear your thoughts about me. Tell me what you think. And I accept the good, the bad and the ugly. Hey, I asked for it, right?

Hey … I have this idea right now. I just got back from the NAC right? I didn’t really get many business cards. But I am going to email those that I do get. The sooner the better … just like an autoresponder, better get them when they still remember you.

Now, I am not going to sell anything. Heck, I was even worried telling them about what I do. I was afraid if I get clients — which is something that I don’t do right now.

So people asked, “What do you do?”

“I run my own Internet business …” It was easier that Brett McFall and Tom Hua had a session at the NAC. “I do what Tom does”, I continued.

Anyway, you can drop me a comment, or an email (kidino[at]moneyclicking[dot]net)… I need to know what you think of me. Let me know if you are on my list, or you are just my blog reader. Then continue with your thoughts.

  1. it’s always the “One minute answer” that matters when someone asks you what you do. for people who don’t understand ecommerce it’s easier to say something they can relate to, such as:

    1) i’m an Internet-based publisher
    2) i’m an author / a writer
    3) i’m an Internet marketing consultant

i guess we’re in the same field Dino which is information publishing (infopreneurs) but most people don’t understand what that is. it’s easier to get their attention – maybe even turn them into your customer or subscriber – using those 3 terms.

  2. oh yeah… and personally I think you’re a brilliant, kind person who gives a lot without asking for anything in return. you never mind sharing your ideas and knowledge. I’ve learned more from you in the past 3 months than i have from any ebook or seminar.

I used to say that I make money online … or I do Internet stuffs. But now I say, “I run my own Internet business”. Sounds a lot better.
