How many times you’ve failed?

I wrote something to my list just now … and I think it’s among the best I’ve written. So I decided to put it in here to …

=======================================================
Tell me about your failed projects
=======================================================

Dear Kidino,

A subscriber emailed me the other replying to my recent
email about the $1K Project. But it was a sad email.

She said that she's spent a lot of money, and a lot of
time trying to make it, but with not much success. And
now she's going to throw the towel.

Well, I wrote back saying ...

Frankly, I really wish you wouldn't stop. But that
is totally your own wish. If you don't mind, I'd
   like to suggest another way.

When I started out, I didn't have much money. I just
graduated and only got a job. And with everything in
USD on the Net, my MYR really seems small. Imagine,
$10/mo hosting is like a week of lunch for me.

Of course you need money, but I only spent on the
necessary things. I spent on a domain name and
   hosting and that was all.

My first project was a website about computer cases.
To my surprise, I made money on the 2nd month. $13
to be exact -- what a shocker!

Well actually, I wanna say this - It's OK to fail.

Infact everybody failed countless times, even the best
people in the field.

When I was playing basketball in school, I can only
remember Michael Jordon to be one of the best 3-pointers
in his time (and maybe still is). Rarely will he miss.
But then again I was reminded about how many times he
has practiced. And a question was posed to me ...

How many times do you think Michael Jordon has
   missed through out his lifetime?

Do you have an answer? Well, here's it is ...

   [+] More than anyone else.

How about Bruce Lee? How many times has he threw his
punches to perfected that famous 1-Inch Punch. Same
answer ...

   [+] More than anyone else.

I was even in nëtworking markëting a little while ago.
And when you see the top guy the a certain company, how
many people do you think he has approached? Same answer

   [+] More than anyone else.

Well, it only makes sense that if you fail more than
anyone else, you are the best in your field.

So again, it's OK to fail ...

I am only writing this to remind you, and MYSELF TOO.

So why not "Fail Faster", as said by David Vallieres in
his latest frëë ebook. I just downloaded it, and read
it through -- indeed, and awesome read.

I know that maybe you are preparing for the holidays.
But why not download this first, printed out and take
it with you for a read this weekend.

Enjoy the ebook …

dont give up. I started my first site on feb 2005. Its primary source of income was google adsense. come end of may i was still maikng on average $1 per day. It was really frustrating. I had read how guys were making like $100 per day and i was not there yet

But i kept on promoting the site and as i write this message(dec 2005) the site is now making $30/day. I have 6 new sites ready to roll and based on my experience with my first site i know all the effective methods of promoting them

    Don’t give up!..
