Project $1K: Day 9 – Participating in Forum
I have only started this recently. I know that posting in forums works … just like how I’ve done it in the past. But somehow I overlooked this when I started my $1K Project.
So recently, only on day 9 that I started this. I started posting in a forum. The way to do it is to look for related discussion, and participate in it. And always make sure that you signature has a link back to your website — with an attracting title to it.
Well, I only have time for one forum … and I think I have posted in three discussions or so. But I already got two subscribers. In overall, together with my Adwords campaign, I have about 20 subscribers now. But still — no sales.

Thanks for including me in your program. It sure as heck sounds fun!
I don’t quite meet your qualifications since I have a slightly bigger budget than $100, and also a small mailing list. Otherwise I fit the bill. However, since I only have 2 weeks (another 2 weeks holidays in Thailand) I guess it pretty evens out any advantages.
I just made one sale today but it might have been luck :) My main strategy will be to ONLY use pay-per-results marketing, mainly using an affiliate program and coupons. So I’m trying to recruit as many affiliates as possible. I now have 2 affiliates that I know of.
Lets see how it goes.
