$1K Project: Day 5 - Starting to Promote
I am focusing my efforts on low-cost and zero-cost promotion. So here’s what I’ve done so far.
I wrote an article that is related to my niche topic. And then I started distributing it. To get fast traffic, I am contacting some ezine publishers that I can find in Google and try to pitch them my article. I hope some of them find it beneficial for their subscribers and will include the article in their next issue. Sorry that I can’t tell you who they are, but I emailed 5 ezine publishers and moderators today.
The article that I wrote, I distribute it to article directories as well. I submit it to EzineArticles.com and ISnare.com. OK, ISnare.com costs $10 to distribute 5 articles. I still can distribute 4 more articles when I signed-up to distribute an article for WOWPopUp.com. But considering that I started from scratch, I will deduct $10 from my piggy bank.
Just one more thing … When I am distributing my article this time, I am targeting a keyword. I have that keyword links to my new website and I hope I can rank well in search engines for that.
