Do you have $100 to burn?

I am sure that you know about all those ebooks that has a compilation of strategies on how to make quick bucks online.

You know … those

  • Joe Kumar - 30 Days
  • Desperate Money
  • … and other like that

Do you know what’s the problem with those kinda of information?

*** They are all THEORIES!! ***

So I have this idea in mind right now. Why not you and I write our own plan of quick bucks online.

But instead of writing the normal ‘how-you-would-spend-$100′, let’s write a real case study, a real experiment that actually happened that made money …

Infact, this is a chance to really put your marketing skills to the test.

  • How long have you been marketing online?
  • How much do you really know?
  • And what if you really need to make money quickly?

Are you up for this … ?? Interested?

Now, what’s the catch?

Alright … when the ebook is ready let’s *NOT* sell it. Infact, let’s give it away.

Let’s just put it out there, help those that really need this. And let’s show the ‘gurus’ how it’s really done!

And with an ebook like this, I am sure this will really shake the people in the industry. Even though we are not selling it, I am sure that we’ll see huge traffic coming in. Be sure to have that subscription form ready to capture all that new traffic.

So if you have $100 to burn, let’s do this. Do all that you can to make $1000 as quickly as possible.

GOAL

To make $1000 in NET in 7 days or less (but you are allowed 30 days maximum for your story). NET means minus costs and commissions for affiliates and JV partners.

RULES

  • You only have $100 to spend
  • You have no mailing list
  • You have no relationship with other marketers
  • You don’t have a ready product to sell
  • You don’t have a membership for any private sites

If you really want to do this, write to me (kidino[at]moneyclicking.net) and tell me about it so that I have a list of people who are doing this with me.

And when you get started, make sure you do your best to document EVERYTHING. Why? Because that will be proof that your story really happened. You want to even start a new category in your blog about this …

Now, by the end of the 7 day period, you may make it or you may fall short — THAT’S OK. Because we want *REAL* stories. If you made $500, then be it — it’s still money. And if you continue to make $1000 only after 14 days, that’s OK too.

The goal is $1000 in 7 days but the maximum duration for your story is only 30 days.

As long as you make positive return from the $100 that you invested, I want your story.

So, are you in? Write to me OK? (kidino[at]moneyclicking.net)

I like the idea up until you said… “As long as you make positive return… I want your story.”

I think it’s a mistake to not include “failed missions” case studies. Failures are just as much, if not more educational as successes. Trying crazy ideas is a major part of e-business and should be encouraged.

When do we set the “cutoff date” for our attempts?

Great idea Ryan… I don’t have anything so I guess I meet the criteria.

Kidino …a date-by-date, naming URL’s’, costs as we go would be of value. I’m in.. let me know how I can help.

It’s great to see all the responses so far. Infact, I have more in my inbox. Later I will be putting up a list of people who have committed for this.

Oh yeah, I just would like to clarify about th RULES … the RULES aren’t really requirements or qualifications. It’s there to say that for this challenge, even if you have them, you can’t use them. For this challenge, you have to do it as if you are a newbie yourself.

Example - I have a list of 3000 people, but I can’t use them to drive instant traffic to my new site. And I know quite a number of people on the Internet with big lists, and they would be glad to blast an email about my new venture - again, I can’t ask them to do that, because as a newbie, the relationship wouldn’t have been developed. But you can approach people you’ve never done business with and try your luck.

And maybe I am a member of a private site that has tons of resell right products … I can’t use that too … If I want to use them, it has to be as if I am using a portion of the $100 to pay for the membership.

Even hosting and domain names needs to be counted in. So if you already have a huge reseller hosting or something like that, put a note and deduct a hosting fee from your initial $100. Same goes with autoresponder services or anything else that is similar.

I have a question, Kidino and you can publish it or not.

Why is it that most every time I see the dollar sign in every and I mean EVERY email that is promoting some form of income generating program I get a little confused.

Everyone knows the money is acheivable, so why sell the money side, what if you were to replace the money factor with people helping people power wouldnt the income just happen?…now you would achieve some thing extraordinary if you were to just get Two who Got Two and and taught them to do the same this in 7 days would equate to 256 people who can do the same. Now if only say 1/3 do it the next day you would have 341 thats 85 more then yesterday.

Bottom line No people= No income so why the focus on money??? Everyone reading this already knows what they want. has any one ever asked them what is it they Need to fill their want? Find that out from each person you meet online or on the phone and you have a win win situation every time

Kidino, I think this is a wonderful idea. However, I’d be happy to make any amount of money. What can I do differently than I am doing now to try to turn my investment into cash?

    Hey Kidino,

I like this idea, and I’m basically a newbie anyway - no list and just lots of theories built up over the last 6 months. I’m going to try this next week and see how far i can get.

I wish everyone who takes part good luck.

This is getting more and more interesting… I didn’t had good result as well with Adwords on my recent campaign, although not related to your 7-day $1K experiment. And I spent much more than $100 on it… luckily, about half of the cost was covered by Google’s courtesy credits.

Now, I’m starting to doubt effectiveness of PPC, Overture (now Yahoo’s) many yrs back and Google although these marketing venues surely do make billions of revenue for these behemoth companies.

Look forward to hear more of your online marketing ideas — trends really do change a lot all the time when you’re marketing over the Net. I remember one trick that built me a downline network at the rate of over a hundred agents a month but failed to produce similar or even a tenth of the result just a year later.

All the best in the injury time. We don’t do penalties in business — or it’s pure GAMBLE!

    Another Day At The Grind

One can become rather weary in this business called internet marketing. Day after day, plodding away to build up the empire, but the rewards can be so sweet.
    I happened across a challenge to earn $1,000 from $100 in 30 days (preferably 7) and thought…
