Hey Kidino, is there a way in your code to make the target URL from clicking the popup open in a new window? I tried to put ” target=”_blank” ” into the code where the URL goes (between the ‘ and ‘ there) but that did not work. I guess it’s not formatted right for that…

Anyway if this is not hard to do and I just made some stupid mistake please let me know how to do this. If it needs something else to make this work, maybe you can do it in a future version of your code?

There are competitive advantages to it .

1) I give 1 free custom popup. I have in house designers ready to make per your specifications.
2) I give a lot of designs for free along with every download.
3) Its a lot easy to do something with mouse clicks and wizards rather then going through all the tutorials etc.

Regarding competition, i think kidino is not selling it as a product, he just posted a simple tutorial to which i replied back .

Raza, The post that you made above is neither friendly nor nice.

Personally, i think that advertising a competitive product in this area is very sharp business practice and perhaps frowned on by many in here.

For any who may be interested, Raza’s product is similar, but is NOT cheaper ( 49 USD) nor can I see any competitive advantage after having read his page.

Kidino, i would put a rel nofollow tag on Raza’s link so that you don’t potentially/inadvertantly bleed out PR or give Page Credit to a direct competitor.

Hi Kidino,

This is super.

One problem though, Video 3, which shows us how to edit the js isn’t working correctly. I was only able to view a couple minutes and it stopped. The page never did completely download.

Looking forward to getting this set up.

I don’t mind popups if they’re related to the site they’re on. I’ve got one on my author’s page on my author’s site at http://www.NovelsByNeenah.com so people will sign up for my contests. I’m trying to decide how to use them on my other sites.

Used a trial version of an expensive program to generate mine. So this is great. Yours is as terrific as theirs–better because it’s free!

Great tool by far! And I “greatly” disagree with all those who said stuff like “why do you think people have pop-up blockers…etc etc”, this is really NOT a pop-up! It is part of the page itself.. maybe rename it? How bout something like a “stick-up” instead lol? This is like having a note stuck to your desk at your outside job, non-abtrusive. And I think it will go over very very well. Am looking forward to directions.

Truth is I HATE normal popups–but I actually like these!
They blend in, sort of, and are unobrusive. I’ve seen this sort called ‘Post-It’ popups, and I’ve been wondering how to use them on my own sites–so you’re right on time!

I, like a lot other people don’t like pop ups but the simple reason they are still used is because they work.

I’m also trying to get to the point where I earn my living online so to be honest I’m looking forward to the code and I will use it.
