September 2005 Report
The first time that I did this, was in August 2005. And I kinda like doing it. It’s a great way to reflect, analyze and plan for the future. What is it? Monthly Report. So here’s my September 2005 Report.
It’s already October, I guess this is the best time to do it.
- I ran the September Referral Contest for DIYMinisite.com. It’s all over, and I will announce a winner soon. But the sad thing is that a guy tried to cheat his way to the $200 prize money. He created a lot of Yahoo email accounts and use those to register to DIYMinisite.
Anyway, I’ll be posting more on this with the winners.
- I promoted XSitePro quite a lot in August and September. Maybe a bit too much. Well, I am not going to be that aggressive with XSitePro this month. But I did quite a number of sales. In case you don’t know what I am talking about, read my review. XSitePro will really help you build better sites, faster.
- OK, here’s something bad. I did some ezine advertising. The thing is, I didn’t seeing much traffic though. And I can’t figure out why. I could be my copywriting, or maybe the ezine …
- Oh, I’ve been promoting TotalWebAudio too. It’s a 2-tier program. And I have been profiting from my own promotions and from sub-affiliates.
And earlier, TotalWebAudio was selling for $79. Josh, the owner, says it’s a pre-launch promo. And true enough, the promo ended. Now you can get it for $97.
- I am listed on http://the-e-code.com. I did a testimonial and I am listed as the first guy. I just think that it’s cool. The e-Code is a book co-authored by Jo Han Mok and Joe Vitale and et.al.
And I think it’s a great book to read. C’mon, it’s only $17 … or so …
- I started my XSitePro Templates list … I think I am guilty of not writing to that list yet. But anyhow, I have close to 200 subscribers now.
- I set a goal for September - and I achieved it early. I just feel so good! OK, before anything, it’s not some huge number that gurus have been flashing on their website. I would say that my figure is rather modest. Anyway, I set a goal and I made it. It’s just so great.

- I wanted to start offering ready-made XSitePro templates - but that never really happened. I was tied with other things. But this month, October 2005, I may do this with a partner. Let him manage this and I’ll just market it.
- I also offered some design services … most design requests are for custom XSitepro templates. Not that I made a lot from this, but I consider it quite OK.
- Do you remember Liz Tomey’s Insane Blowout Sale … just a few sales from there.
- I got involve with a local celebrity here in Malaysia. I will be helping him with his website, and maybe some online marketing as well. This may just be my break to the local scene. I have this business idea that I wanted to do offer to the locals. We’ll see how this one goes.
- Oh, and I think I wrote quite a few good things in September in my blog. If you’d like to know what I’ve learned … or comment on what I wrote …
- Sometimes, you don’t only measure success with how much you make. When you are in business, especially Internet business — there are other metrics that can reflect on how well you are doing.
I just would like to tell that I’ve consistently increase traffic to MoneyClicking every month this year. But my Alexa graph is a bit crazy.

- CJ.com and Adsense is also contributed my income in September 2005
Wow … ! I think I’ve talked enough. Your turn. Write back or leave a comment.
What’s coming in October? You’ll see …
