August Report – What a Progress
Well … August is a great month. It’s not over yet, but so far things are doing great.
I see huge progress … maybe not financially but I’ve learned quiet a number of new things. It’s always great to have progress no matter how big or small it is. I just want to note what happened in August – never want to forget this month.
Here’s a summary …
- Irfan Khairi from RahsiaInternet.com approached me to become a guest speaker at his Internet Marketing Seminar. With no hesitation, I said yes. I think this is a breakthrough for me. Starting to be more recognized in the local arena. We’ll see where this takes me.

This is a great software for newbies and expert in the Internet marketing arena. XSitePro is a web building tool but it was designed with the marketers in mind. Though I am an expert with Dreamweaver, I prefer XSitePro when it comes to building content-sites for affiliate programs and Adsense – they make it so much easier. I made quite a number of sales promoting it too.
http://moneyclicking.net/xsitepro-review.htm - I see increase in my Adsense earning. Nothing much … some sites are getting back in the ranking again. And there are also some sites that are starting to get ranks. I’ll be building more in September … with the help of XSitePro of course.
- I am starting to offer design services more seriously. I do minisites, ebook cover and XSitePro templates. I haven’t made a website for this yet, so not many really know that I do this. Only my subscribers do. Anyway, I am offering designing services now. This month alone, I did 8 designs of ebook covers and minisites.

I was reflecting back on the things that I did with my list and I figured that I must’ve done something right.

For just $79 (while still on pre-launch discount), you get 6 software and one more as a bonus. I made an endorsement to my list which resulted in a few sales. I’ll be creating something and putting it up of my website soon – need to show off what I can with it

August is great … and I still have a few more days. Maybe when September comes, I’ll post an update which officially says how I did in August.
Well … indeed, this is quite a list. Some might have known that I am targeting my freedom (from corporate) this year. With all these, it really looks bright.

August has been pretty much the same for me especially the growth and progress part although I think I also did better over-all than last year.

August has been very good indeed, but busy! This sort of covers both July and August leading up to what’s to come in September…
I’ll break it down in similar fashion to yours:
–Had professional copy editor go through my newly written book, “Advanced Power Selling”. After which she asked for only 2 paperback copies and credited byline in trade instead of the predetermined quote, because she liked it so much.
–Listed digital version of my book with Clickbank. Learned quickly that I was mistaken in thinking Clickbank had anything to do with marketing. So, I added a bunch of tools to my book and made it super valuable. Then went against the pricepoint suggested by my colleagues (49.99) and started with an intro offer of half that. Sold a few books. Got great feedback.
–Needed help selling more. Received professional advice from an expert in the marketing field (Liz Tomey) to seek out JV partnerships.
–Sent out a request for such an alliance and received help from another highly regarded internet marketing expert (Patric Chan) who hooked me up with an opportunity to partner with yet another expert, this time in my niche area (Dave Lovelace).
–Began preparations for the above-mentioned joint venture “Best of eBay” promo where my book is showcased alongside 9 other eBay experts (and household names) for a period of 7 days coming in September.
–Became quickly worried when I discovered how difficult it is to recruit affiliates.
–Just as things are heating up, I’m invited to write a chapter for a collaboration on what will be a free internet business ebook. Guess what the chapter is on? Affiliate Marketing of all things!
–So I’m neck-deep now in trying to learn all about affiliate marketing. After a mailout of 20,000 and posting to all the appropriate forums, I have 3 affiliates and a week left to find more. This is what I need help with now. I know some people only wish they had problems like this.

August has had ups and downs for me, I have started to be recognised, and invited to JV with other marketers. In addition I have started a couple of new websites of my own, and they are slowly growing in visibility.
As far as sales, it’s been slow but that’s probably because I am spending more time list building and branding me first and the sites second, but that will surely follow.
August also one of the companies where I host some of my sites having problems, and all the sites being offline, or slow for about a week or so. They are a good company who do all they can to resolve all issues, so I’m sticking with them and it finally looks back to normal. Of course this made promotion and new additions difficult during that time.
All in all, it’s been a bitsy month, but it’s all going the right direction.

August has been great for me too-
Have had friends over which has been really cool, but has not left me with much time for making money online! However fortunately I bouught XSite Pro after reading your review, (for the first month of owning it I hardly looked at it, as I was in the middle of another project, using another program, DUH) However two days ago, looked at XSitePro, and built the website that I put in the URL here in just 9 hours. That includes learning the program, finding content, etc. I have about 3 more hours work, in optimizing the pages for SE and it will be complete -already have the blueprint for the next one which I guess will take about 15 hours to finish, but the site will have approx 1400 pages. What a cool program!
Thanx for tips, unlike many ‘gurus’ yours are worth something.

Thanks for sharing your steps towards Corporate freedom, I send you tons of positive wishes so that you may make all your dreams come true. That is also my goal. I will be finished with my Masters in Psychology this December along with having a full time job. Once school is over my goal is to devote time to my internet business. I know that there is money to be made, you just have to be determined and that I am. Thanks for the words of encouragement, there is still hope for the rest of us.
