Speaking at Irfan Khairi’s Seminar
If you don’t know Irfan Khairi, his the guy who wrote Rahsia Jutawan Internet (Secrets of Internet Millionaires). He was having a foundation / intro seminar last Saturday (20 August 2005) and he invited me to speak as a guest speaker.
It went great. I spoke about Adsense optimization techniques where I shared my 5 secret Adsense placings for higher CTR.
The participants who were mostly new to internet marketing really got excited with my short presentations. And Irfan said I am a natural presenter … but he doesn’t know that I used to present A LOT when I was doing network marketing … :P

Yep … he mentioned that SPACE, UTM invited him a few weeks ago. BTW, I graduated from UTM in 2001.

How successful are these seminars? I mean the participants, do they end up being successful after going through your seminar/guide? Of course, Im talking about the determined ones who come. I signed up for this talk but unfortunately have to pull out due to other commitments… If this is worth it, I’ll find a way to attend. whats your say in it? since u are a speaker. i would like to hear from you.

Taufiq … I was a guest speaker for about 30 minutes and then joined them for the lunch break. How successful the particpants are after attending the seminar? – Frankly, I don’t know.
But here’s the thing about seminar participants for ANY SEMINARS. I can bet more than 80% of them will do NOTHING after the seminar.
How about this … assess yourself – what do you know, and what have you done so far? If you haven’t done much, take a plunge and get some result. Then seek for advice.
