Adsense, Affiliates, Selling … and something else
Right now I earn most of my online income from my mini content-sites. I call them mini because they all have less that 50 pages. Revenue streams come from Adsense and affiliates. Oh yeah, and also sales on products.
But I have been playing around with the idea so long now. Infact, I still am … what am I thinking about? Well let me tell you what led me to think this way …
Though doing fairly OK right now. Not a fulltime income yet. But quite OK. The thing is, when I build websites, I spent quite a number of hours researching, writing, designing and most … building inbound links. And you can expect some traffic in a few months.
It’s great when you are at that stage. Your website ranks well and traffic is steady. If you feel lazy to look around for best affiliate programs, just plug-in Adsense. At that point, you are really earning passive income.
The thing is … that passive income isn’t secure. I can lose it at anytime. Infact, I have experienced such things. We are all at the mercy of Adsense and the search engines.
Sometimes advertisers aren’t advertising. Sometimes Google gives you low earning per click (EPC). Sometimes the search engines just throw away your ranking.
You may have a website that gives a steady $100 per month. You don’t mind the small figure because that will all add up to the other websites you have.
OK … I do sell online. You can go and make JVs after JVs. And you can advertise. But if you advertise today, you will today. And if you stop advertising, guess what, you stop earning. It’s still kinda like an active income for me.
Worse for foreign businesses like me, all my earnings this month will be posted out next month. And it takes 14 days for the check to arrive. And another 30 days for the check to clear. And all these while, I have already been charged on my credit card. The delay is just so long … and at times, the I don’t have enough to cover that.
So that’s what I have been thinking about … I think I’ll continue that in the next post …

Hello,
I have just read your blog. It’s great! Therefore I would have for you one query about this wonderful prorgram – XSitePro. Please you, is it possible to get relative articles into the XSitePro generated HTML pages from my keywords? This means that if I will have available 100 cognate keywords on theme – loans, so may I gain the relative article (according to the keyword of course) for each unique HTML page?
That is all. Let me know soon and thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Marek Brezina
