Mobile Business with GPRS
Last week I did a 5-Day Sale for BlackBeltJVBroker.com. And about the same time, my in-laws planned a short vacation to Port Dickson, Malaysia.
Everything went fine … with a little hiccup … but it was fine …
I just want to tell you that a week before going for that vacation, I got myself a notebook (1.6Ghz Intel Centrino), a Bluetooth-GPRS handphone and a Bluetooth USB dongle. I hooked everything up, and I was on the net …
So, even though I was away at the beach, I didn’t missed anything. Infact, I even replied to some customer’s feedback and I saw every sale coming in …
How cool is that …
And the sale was automated, by the way … Even if I hadn’t had my Internet connection, the sale was able to run smoothly. But I’ll talk more about that later.

GPRS huh? I’ve been a long user of DiGi Edge… which is not bad at all, decent connection throughout malaysia even on North-South PLUS highways, and hi-speed confirmed in Penang, Ipoh & KL… (but poor reception in Shah Alam!)
So, have you migrated to 3G yet? Wondering how if it’s any significantly better than 2.5G (EDGE), except with regards to video conferencing..
Yes, it sure do feel good surfing (the Net) on the beach, or top of the hills ;-) — which are my own usual getaways…
