Stop Looking for BIG BREAKS!

People are always looking for their so-called ‘Big Break’, their silver bullet project that is sure to hit the bull’s eye.

They would walk up to people, and talk about their HUGE business idea, their huge projects that will bring in millions and on and on …

But big breaks are definitely too risky for many of us. Not that it doesn’t happen, but looking for a big break takes too much effort, time and resources. I guess you’ll be lucky if you are burned-out when you got it …

You work so hard, might even quit your job, and even spend your life saving and even mortgage your home … if you are not too stressed out by the end of the day, and still have resources to work on … maybe the big break will come.

Chances are, you’ll be lucky if you even have ONE big break in your life.

For many … big breaks don’t happen!

I am not against people going for that — I respect them for their courage, their determination, their belief and their passion. But if any of them gets burned, I feel so sorry for them because … there’s a better way.

A better way … ??

Yes. We’ve been eyeing the big breaks so long that we forget about the ‘SMALLER BREAKS’.

SMALLER BREAKS?

Yes. Instead of having one HUGE big break in life, why not have many SMALLER breaks. Smaller successes that you can manage to get over and over again …

Try working and focusing at something small, less risk, low-investment and BOOM! Success! Then you can work on something else and try to create that boom again.

Before you know it, you have 50 of those small breaks. And those smaller successes are now paying for your monthly expenses and living … you can quit your job now.

OK – I am talking about mini-sites.

Mini-sites come in many forms …

- 1-page salesletter
- 5-10 page content website
- subcription page
- newletter archive
- flycatcher page
- landing page
or any other that you can think of.

Mini-sites are easy to build, takes less time, small to invest in, less risky … and done the right way, can be very profitable.

It’s rare that people make $10,000 or more a month from a single mini-site, but many times, I found people who are doing $100 to $1,000 a month from a single mini-site.

And if you have 10 of those mini-sites, you’ll be earning $1,000 to $5,000 per month, easily.

OK, being conservative, let play a number game.

Let’s define a winner, loser and so-so mini-sites. A winner mini-site makes $500 a month, a loser mini-site makes you $0 a month, and a so-so mini-site makes you $100 a month.

And say you have 10 mini-sites and 3 are winners, 3 are losers and 4 are doing so-so. With that, you are still make $1900 per month. A year, that’s $22,800.

And how much is your overhead? A multiple domain hosting for a year and 10 domain names, that should not be more than $500 per year.

Fiction? Think again? I have been talking about this to a few marketer friends … and these people have revealed their secret mini-sites to me.
